Water level measurement in a tank

Hi There,

I’ve a couple of sensors at home and now I’m thinking on to submerge one into my rainwater collector tank in a some kind of ballon, possibly in a closed and flexible plastic bottle. My idea is that the pressure in the ballon would indicate how much water sits on the top of it. Queston 1.) Will the BT signal survive and get out from 2m of water? Is there any better idea you possibly have? Thanks in advance!

Interesting idea, tell us if you get it working. Only way to really know how long you get signal is to use Ruuvi phone app and use it RSSI measurement, above(i.e. below) -100 dBm starts to be on the edge.
