Since I’m taking RuuviTags with me while traveling and moving it might be helpful to see the last known location of my RuuviTags in Ruuvi Station for iOS. It might happen that I forget one behind me. Also, that could be of course a feature in itself to track some other items’ location by attaching RuuviTags to them.
I haven’t checked if there is a generic purpose application for iOS that could track the location of a connected device or BLE beacon or if it is even possible in the background in iOS.
