TBH, I assumed this would have been an existing feature of the mobile app, since running a manual sync from the tag’s local history via the app to the cloud doesn’t tax any resource-limited IoT components (as opposed to having the gateway do it).
My use case is a remote location where the internet sometimes goes offline for days, but the same feature would help here too.
I assumed this would have been basic feature when buying the gateway. Currently all the data is only in my cellphone instead of the cloud. To me this is backwards. Of course all the data should be shown in cloud GUI. We have 20 sensors in 16 apartments and we can’t setup gateways in a way that all could be read. Few apartments are always unreachable, but they can easily be read manually with phone.
Even better would be that we would get data into cloud also from phones that use the shared sensors.
