Iām thinking about buying a Ruuvi sensor for temperature monitoring.
If the threshold is exceeded, does it emit an audible alert? That would be important to me.

Unfortunately, the RuuviTag itself does not have a loudspeaker. However, if sounds are enabled on your mobile phone, an alert notification sound will be played there. But please note that this is not intended to be a loud alarm, but rather a notification sound indicating that something requires your attention.
