I wanted to double check where the RuuviTag Pro sensor actually picks up its readings from. Is it just sensing temperature from the top where the hole is or is there any temp sensing from the bottom of the Tag. I’m trying to determine the best placement when I mount it.
RuuviTag sensors’ antenna is positioned so that the signal is slightly stronger upwards from the top cover. The hole covered by Goretex sticker is used to enable RuuviTag to get reliable humidity readings from its surroundings while inside the protective cover.
