Hi! Im currently using the RuuviTag Pro to monitor vibrations of a stationary object attached using magnets on the screwholes.
The Z axis is clear it detects the gravity in relation to ground when the top of the enclosure is facing on ground or sky. So it makes sense its always 1G or -1G depending on which one is the case.
What I dont currently understand is how the X and Y axes are defined? Based on I know how the device is currently attached in the object, how can I tell which direction is X and which is Y?
The Pro enclosure thankfully offers a standard way to position the Tag PCB inside the enclosure, but considering the exterior of the casing, how are the X and Y defined? Can someone point them to me as lines drawn in a figure with the RuuviTag Pro enclosure?
Thank you in advance!
