Hi, I bought 2 ruuvi tags 3 years ago. One of them have started draining batteries really fast, to the point that a battery (I use the original Ruuvi batteries) only lasts a few weeks. I use it in a fridge so it’s in a “cool” environment but not “cold”. Is there anything I can do, or might the unit be faulty?

Thanks for your message and sorry for troubles.
The first thing to do in this case is take the RuuviTag out from its protective case and visually check if any moisture has somehow managed to get inside the protective case. You would likely see some stains on the circuit board in case of moisture. These can be easily cleaned with a cotton bud soaked in mild alcohol solution.
If this doesn’t help in your case, write to our support email support@ruuvi.com and attach closeup photos of the circuit board and we can help further assess the situation.
