Ruuvi support GPIO?

I need a device that gets input from two serial IO – voltage and hydraulic sensors. Data needs to be passed over wi-fi (or LTE).

1. Does Ruuvi Node support this?
2. What is the development environment for the scripting logic to read IO ports and transmit to a network address?

We are planning to add an extension connector, however the details of the connector are still a bit open-ended and might be adjusted for reliability etc. More details are here.

Zephyr, at least for now. No Espruino, Arduino or similar easier to get started environments are on roadmap at least yet.
