Ruuvi sensor - solid red LED

Ruuvi sensor (bought Dec. 2023) stays with solid red LED on. Can´t connect to the sensor with the Ruuvi App anymore (neither with BLE nor with NFC).
Detectable and connectable via nRF Connect App. Once connected to the nRF App LED turns solid green. Firmware update possible as well. Once disconnected from nRF App LED turns solid RED again. Battery change didn´t help.
Any help appreciated.

Hi @myxos ,

It looks like there is some dirt at the base of the button on the board. You could try to clean this with Q-tip and some alcohol. If this doesn’t solve the problem for you, please write to our email support@ruuvi.com.

G’day - I’m having the same problem. The Red light is stuck and the unit is not showing up on the app. Changed the battery but the red light still comes on and don’t connect.

Hi @Spook , have a look at the circuit board inside the case. If the situation is same as above, the same steps will apply - clean gently with Q-tip soaked in alcohol solution and try if it resolves the issue. If not, write to us at support@ruuvi.com including closeup photos of the circuit board (both sides) and we will help you out.
