Ive just purchased a Ruuvi tag to measure external temperature when in car.
I’ve of course downloaded the app and the device is working.
However to make it simpler to display, I understand you can display a widget on your ‘Today page’. I’ve installed the widget but am a little lost as to the ICloud element required.
I have an iPhone 17, perhaps somebody can help with the process.

You are right, the Ruuvi Station widget for iOS currently requires Ruuvi Gateway router.
We are currently building a feature that will enable you to hide or show and organise any available measurement on sensor cards, which might help you in your use case.
Widget improvements are planned later down the line, but not scheduled to upcoming app updates yet.
