Mille korkeudelle ja mihin paikkaan ruuvi tagi kannattaa sijoittaa?
Entä voiko ruuvilla mitata kosteutta talon rakenteista? Laitoin lattialaudan alle pari anturia ja kyllähän ne jotain lukemaa näyttävät, mutta en tiedä miten sitä pitäisi tulkita kun pintakosteusmittari näyttää paljon isompaa lukemaa kuin ruuvin ilmankosteus.

Itse olen asettanut RuuviTagin huoneessa pöydälle, jossa se lepää sille suunnitellussa jalustassa. Olen välttänyt esimerkiksi seinälle asentamista, koska esimerkiksi ulkoseinistä usein huokuu hieman lämpöä tai kylmää, sekä suoraan auringonpaisteeseen laittamista.
Pintakosteuden ja ympäröivän ilman ilmankosteusmittaukset eivät ole aivan suoraan verrannollisia, pintamittaus on nimensä mukaisesti paljon kohdistetumpi. RuuviTag soveltuu hyvin eri tilojen yleisen suhteellisen ilmankosteuden mittaamiseen.

And can you use a ruuvi to measure the moisture in the house’s structures? I put a couple of sensors under the floorboard and they do show some reading, but I don’t know how to interpret it when the surface moisture meter shows a much bigger reading than the air humidity of the ruuvi

Air humidity measurements of surface humidity and the surrounding air are not quite directly proportional, as the name suggests, surface measurement is much more targeted. RuuviTag is well suited for measuring the general relative humidity of different rooms.
