How should the cover be placed?

I opened my Ruuvi today and then tried to put the lid back on.

A German-language YouTube video explained how the opening in the lid needs to be positioned over the circuit board so that the sensors are exposed.

But for some reason, my circuit board looks different.

Can someone tell me where the opening needs to be so that the tag works properly?

Darüber hinaus wurde in dem Video auch auf zwei Schalter verwiesen - hier finde ich nur noch einen. Was bewirkt dieser?

Hi @jan99 , thanks for your message. This is the standard RuuviTag (not the Pro version with black cover), maybe the video you saw was showing another model.

The position of the opening doesn’t actually affect the humidity measurement, it simply lets the enclosure “breathe” in order for the sensor to get correct readings.
