I just received my ruuvi from kickstarter and I don’t know how to activate it with my iPhone. Is there an app or program I need to view data? I am unable to find it with Bluetooth on either. Thanks for the help.
Do you have the basic or advanced version?
Advanced comes with Weatherstation pre-installed, and you can load Chrome on iOS and use the Notification Center widget to open a web page that shows temperature, pressure and humidity.
For basic, you will only get temperature, and you need to flash the tag with the Weatherstation firmware first. Instructions are on ruu.vi/setup. I have used the DFU function of the “nRF Toolbox” app for this, with no hassles.
