Hi all!
I’ve been using (fully closed) Ruuvitags in aquarium for two years. They work very well measuring the temperature change and the signal is good enough when the device is near the glass.
From time to time I still feel that while the relative accuracy is perfect for this application, the absolute accuracy may be better. Ruuvitag seems to show 1-2 degrees less than conventional aquarium thermometers.
Is there any more experience on using them under water?
