After updating the firmware of ruuvitag from Data Format 2, some of them successfully updated to format 3, while some of them updated to format 4. I cannot understand the random pattern. So what happened and how to control to update to the certain protocol version?

Latest firmware supports both formats 3 and 4. You can switch the format by pressing “B”. Red led blinks while tag is sending in format 3, green led blinks while tag is sending in format 4
