We will be trying to add a pressure sensor (perhaps 3 or 4) to the expansion bus on the new RuuviTag Pro.

For now, can you tell me if a single Infineon sensor (matching that now on the Original RuuviTag), when attached to the expansion bus on the Pro will just naturally pick it up and broadcast that data with the rest of the advertisement? Or will a firmware update be required?

Hello,

SPI bus used by SPI sensors is not routed to expansion connector, so you’d need to either add I2C support and run sensors over I2C or code the firmware to use expansion connector pins.

I’m not sure how many I2C addresses the DPS supports though
