Ruuvi GW without internet

Hello,
In my usecase I need the Ruuvi GW working without internet (by policy) so I configured the GW over ethernet and the HTTP post feature, so far so good.
My problem is that the Ruuvi Tags are not publishing their measurements in this configuration. If I chang the config to Wifi with internet, everything is working but when I go back to ethernet without internet, I see only the first POST without Ruuvi Tags.
I already found the topic ”Ruuvi Gateway to RPi without internet cxn” but it didn’t help me much.

Is internet mendatory to get this setup working? Is there a way to configure it without internet?
Many thanks, Joey

GW should work without access to the external Internet, but I think an accessible time server is mandatory. You can configure the NTP server in settings.

I think your target server would need to implement NTP and then you’d configure the target server to provide time.

Let me know if time configuration solves the issue, if not we’ll need to take a deeper look. In any case it’s our goal that RuuviGW works without access to the external Internet

Yes, this was indeed the problem. Installed and configured a NTP server (chronyc) and now the Tags measurements are pushed over HTTP.
Thanks a lot.
