Renaming Bluetooth (RuuviTag)

Hello,

When I scan for Bluetooth devices, Ruuvi shows up as “RuuviTag”. Is it possible to chnage that name to something else?If so, what file should be editing?

Example: I want it to show as “RuuviBluetooth”.

I have the Dev Kit and I already found and edited this file “ruuvitag_b” but the bluetooth name did not change.

Which scanner do you use and which firmware you’re using?

If you’re on ruuvitag_fw / master you should be able to change the name which is advertised at bluetooth_application_config.h
